About this project
After 16 years of loyal service, it was time for an upgrade at Carnation Nursery Zuurbier in Heerhugowaard! In 2009, we installed screen systems in the new building, and now we've replaced the fabric and atlas wires to future-proof the greenhouse.
With a 6,000 m² greenhouse that's never completely empty, this project presented its own challenges. Because there's no monorail, we used special assembly carts to work safely and efficiently at height.
The result? A satisfied Erik Zuurbier and a department that's ready for at least another 16 years!
