In Finland, winters are considerably harsher, making good insulation in the greenhouse essential!
For cucumber grower SIGGPAC, we renovated the existing screen installations and optimized the layout of the screen compartments. On 12.5 hectares of greenhouse, around 300,000 cucumbers (!) are produced every day. The new layout allows for better temperature control throughout the greenhouse. The Luxous 1147 H2No FR screen by Svensson provides the necessary insulation, as it can remain closed during the day without limiting the light available to the cucumber crop.
The roller facades also received an upgrade with new tube motors and new screen fabric. A great technical challenge, with a result our specialists can rightly be proud of. Ready for the Finnish winter and plenty of delicious cucumbers!
