About this project
Commissioned by Growers United, we recently started installing nearly 6,000 pieces of insect netting on two greenhouses of Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines in Dinteloord. Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines is a leading greenhouse horticulture company specialized in growing aubergines. At five locations in West Brabant and Zeeland, covering a total area of 47 hectares, they grow, sort, and pack more than 27 million kg (!) of aubergines per year!
Here, we are installing the Retrofit system, entirely from the outside. This unique system can be mounted both between and around the ventilation window. In this way, there is no obstruction to daily production, and the hygiene protocol remains optimally safeguarded.
We are proud to contribute to Growers United's visionary sustainable entrepreneurship at the Van Duijn De Jong Aubergines location. A future without the influx of harmful insects contributes perfectly to this.
